Specifically, Mr. Sinh's exam scores were: Mathematics: 5.2 points, Literature: 5.5 points, History: 8.0 points, and Geography: 6.75 points.

Mr. Sinh added that with his GPA of 7.8, he is confident that he will pass the high school graduation exam in 2024.

"My family and I are very happy. I am very grateful to the teachers, my wife and children, and everyone who has supported and encouraged me throughout this time," Mr. Sinh said.

According to Mr. Sinh, his family members are encouraging him to apply for university admission, but he is not yet satisfied with this suggestion.

According to Van Am, Deputy Director of the Vocational Education and Continuing Education Center of Hai Lang district, in addition to Mr. Sinh, there are also Mr. Tran Duy Linh (43 years old) and Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Nhon (46 years old) who are older students studying at the Center and will also participate in the 2024 High School Graduation Examination.

As a result, in this exam, candidate Tran Duy Linh achieved the following scores: 4.8 points in Mathematics, 6.0 points in Literature, 7.0 points in History, and 8.0 points in Geography.

Candidate Nguyen Ngoc Nhon achieved the following scores: 3.6 in Mathematics, 5.0 in Literature, 8.25 in History, and 6.75 in Geography.

Mr. Van Am further informed that, with these results and academic transcripts all above 7.0 points, all three older candidates mentioned above will pass the 2024 High School Graduation Exam.

Previously, as reported by Dai Doan Ket Newspaper, in the 2024 High School Graduation Exam, Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Sinh was the oldest candidate at the exam center at Hai Lang High School (Hai Lang district, Quang Tri province). Mr. Sinh participated in this exam at the age of 54.

Leaders of Hai Duong commune, leaders of the Vocational Education and Continuing Education Center, and Mr. Sinh himself all confirmed that at the time of participating in the competition, Mr. Sinh was the Director of Xuan Vien Agricultural Production and Service Cooperative (Hai Duong commune).

Regarding this matter, the Examination Council of the Quang Tri Provincial Department of Education and Training stated that this year, 74 candidates achieved a total score of 50 points or more across all subjects. Geography was the subject with the most perfect scores (10 points), with 26 candidates achieving the maximum score.

For the 2024 High School Graduation Examination in Quang Tri province, there were 8,402 registered candidates (7,944 high school students and 458 independent candidates). The province arranged 26 examination centers (19 inter-school centers and 7 independent centers) with 350 examination rooms.

This exam involved 1,400 teachers serving as invigilators, over 220 support staff, 200 police officers providing security, 60 medical personnel, and 200 teachers from the Department of Education and Training who were deployed as backup to reinforce the team.

During the organization of the exams for this examination, no violations of examination regulations by officials or candidates were recorded throughout Quang Tri province.
