Master's degree holder volunteers to enlist in the military.

Nguyen Bao Trong regularly participates in community service activities and youth movements.

With a Master's degree in Party Building and State Administration, Nguyen Bao Trong (25 years old, residing in Hamlet 4, Song Doc Commune, Ca Mau ) had dreamed of becoming a police officer since childhood. However, due to family circumstances, he changed direction, graduating from university and working at a bank. The job was stable for three years, and after completing his Master's program, it seemed like a long-term career path for Trong.

In September 2025, after receiving his master's degree and having a stable job, Trong made a big decision: he volunteered to serve in the People's Public Security Force in 2026. Trong was overwhelmed with emotion when he received his conscription notice.

Before becoming a new recruit in the People's Public Security Force in 2026, Trong had a distinguished career in youth union activities and movements. He achieved Level I Central Trainer certification recognized by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union; received a commendation from the An Giang Provincial Youth Union in the 2022 competition for the 11th National Youth Union Congress logo design; and a certificate of merit from the Central Committee of the Youth Union. Because of his outstanding achievements in youth work and movements, Trong is also on the Executive Board of the "Lighting Up Hope" Scholarship Fund, actively supporting disadvantaged students in the Mekong Delta region.

Trong's achievements demonstrate a journey of growth closely linked to the Youth Union and youth movements, volunteer work, and the training and development he received within a collective environment with an ideal of dedication.

"For me, choosing to volunteer for the People's Public Security Force is a citizen's responsibility to the Fatherland. Through this, I am trained in a disciplined environment, developing my character and facing challenges to become more mature in willpower, demeanor, and sense of responsibility," Trong said about his decision and his desire to have a long-term commitment to the People's Public Security Force.
