Thanh Hoa: Floods arrive, over 100 households urgently evacuated.

On the morning of August 26th, flash floods occurred in several areas of Thanh Hoa province, and more than 100 households were urgently evacuated to safe locations.

In Son Dien commune, heavy rains caused flash floods in Na Nghiu village. Additionally, heavy rains caused water to flow into the Bun stream in Bun village, also resulting in flooding. In response to this situation, local authorities urgently evacuated 49 households to safe locations.

In Dien Lu commune, authorities relocated 72 households with 214 people in the villages of Kha, Gioi, Thung Tam, Ven, My, Con, Dien Giang, Dien Ly, and Ram Tam from areas at risk of flash floods. In Co Luon village, 18 households were also evacuated from areas at risk of landslides.

In Quan Son commune, authorities evacuated four households with 13 people due to landslides that damaged the walls of their houses. In Bon village, the commune government also evacuated four households with 19 people located in areas at risk of flash floods.
