| The police in Xuan Duong commune presented gifts to Ha Linh during the recent Mid-Autumn Festival. |
During a visit to attend a regular Party branch meeting in Khuoi Cay village, Xuan Duong commune, as assigned by the Commune Party Committee, the Head of the Xuan Duong Commune Police learned that Trieu Thi Ha Linh, a third-grade student at Dong Xa Semi-Boarding Primary School, was a studious girl who had to endure the hardship of being separated from her parents at a young age (her parents divorced, her mother remarried, and her father was undergoing drug rehabilitation).
My life depends on my elderly and frail grandparents, and my family faces many difficulties, being classified as a poor household living in a dilapidated, temporary house. Thanks to the attention of the Party and the State, the People's Committee of Thai Nguyen province recently implemented the construction of a new house for my family using funds from the Ministry of Public Security (inaugurated in August 2025).
However, because their house was far from the school, her grandparents didn't know how to ride a motorbike, and they couldn't afford to support her education, Ha Linh longed to go to school. The distance between their home and the school, the treacherous roads, especially during rainy and windy days, coupled with their difficult economic circumstances, forced her family to keep her out of school for about two weeks to help with household chores and farm work.

| Ha Linh's joy comes from being able to continue going to school and pursuing her dreams. |
Having understood Ha Linh's situation, through monitoring the local area, the commune police and Lieutenant Colonel Ma Thanh Tung, the head of the commune police, have visited Trieu Thi Ha Linh's home many times. They spent time talking and explaining the situation to her grandparents and other family members in a reasonable and empathetic way, so that Ha Linh could continue to pursue her dream of going to school like her peers.
Thanks to the perseverance and dedication of the commune police, the family agreed to let Trieu Thi Ha Linh continue attending school. On the occasion of the recent Mid-Autumn Festival, the commune police visited Na Thac Primary School, where Ha Linh studies, to encourage, share, visit, and present gifts including: a school bag, notebooks, a raincoat, an umbrella, essential school supplies, and Mid-Autumn Festival gifts. These small gifts are a source of encouragement, giving Ha Linh more strength to continue her education.
The compassionate hearts and sense of responsibility shown by the police officers and soldiers of Xuan Duong commune towards those facing hardship have instilled faith and hope in this young student, encouraging her to continue pursuing her dream of going to school.
The radiant smile on her face as she reunited with her friends on the way to school was proof of this meaningful act, further demonstrating the spirit of the police officers who maintain peace in the village - "Serving the people".
