Some units recorded many patients such as: Ha Dong (17); Hoang Mai (13); Thanh Tri, Thuong Tin (11); Bac Tu Liem, Dong Da (9). From the beginning of 2025 to now, Hanoi has recorded 876 cases in 30/30 districts, towns and cities.

Patients were distributed by age group as follows: 97 cases under 6 months (11.1%); 131 cases 6-8 months (15.0%); 100 cases 9-11 months (11.4%), 196 cases 1-5 years (22.4%), 136 cases 6-10 years (15.5%), and 216 cases over 10 years (24.7%).
The Hanoi CDC noted that the number of measles cases this week increased compared to the previous week, mainly among people who have not been vaccinated or have not been fully vaccinated, and predicted that more cases will be recorded in the coming period.
Next week, districts and communes will continue to implement the measles vaccination campaign for children aged 6 to under 9 months, as directed by the Hanoi People's Committee, the Department of Health, and the Hanoi CDC.
Units and localities should strengthen supervision of vaccination sites in their areas, ensuring that they are implemented correctly according to the plan and professional regulations, paying particular attention to reviewing target groups and vaccination techniques.
In addition to monitoring and detecting patients at designated healthcare facilities and in the community, promptly investigating and handling cases and outbreaks to prevent widespread transmission, units monitoring suspected measles cases conduct epidemiological investigations, collect samples for testing from 100% of suspected cases, and organize the containment and thorough treatment of areas with patients and outbreaks according to regulations.
