3 new dengue fever outbreaks

According to a report from the Thai Binh Province Center for Disease Control, among the new dengue fever cases last week, three new outbreaks were recorded in three communes: Dong My (Thai Binh City), Vu Ninh (Kien Xuong District) and Dong Trung (Tien Hai District).

From the beginning of 2024 to now, the whole Thai Binh province has recorded a total of 1,020 cases of dengue fever, of which the number of endogenous cases accounts for more than 63%.

Thai Binh Provincial Center for Disease Control recommends and requests relevant units to strengthen communication work, provide timely and complete information on the epidemic situation and measures to prevent dangerous infectious diseases. For diseases with vaccines, regularly advise people to proactively get vaccinated fully and on schedule according to instructions.

Thai Binh Provincial Center for Disease Control has coordinated with localities to promptly and effectively handle dengue fever cases and outbreaks; continue to deploy disease prevention and control measures, ensure environmental sanitation in high-risk areas; organize spraying of chemicals to kill disease-carrying insects in high-risk areas after general environmental sanitation.
