The Turkish Embassy in Vietnam recently announced that, starting September 1, 2025, Vietnamese citizens holding ordinary passports can apply for an electronic visa to enter Turkey through the e-visa system on the website: https://evisa.gov.tr/en/ .
The e-visa is valid for 180 days, with a maximum stay of 30 days.
Visitors should ensure they provide accurate information during the visa application process to facilitate a smooth procedure.
Currently, Vietnamese travelers can easily reach Turkey with direct flights from Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City to Istanbul.
The flight time is approximately 11 hours, departing from Vietnam around 11 PM and arriving in Istanbul around 5-6 AM (local time).
Travelers can rest on overnight flights before starting their next leg of the journey in Türkiye or connecting to Europe or Africa.
Besides its iconic hot air ballooning experience, Turkey has many other worthwhile destinations to explore , such as Topkapi Palace, Aya Sofya Church, the Bosphorus Bridge, Pamukkale (Cotton Castle), and Mount Nemrut.
