The Turkish Embassy in Vietnam recently announced that from September 1, 2025, Vietnamese citizens holding ordinary passports can apply for an electronic visa to enter Turkey through the Electronic Visa System (e-visa) on the website: https://evisa.gov.tr/en/ .

The e-visa is valid for 180 days, with a maximum stay of 30 days.

Visitors should ensure that all information is provided accurately during the visa application process to ensure smooth processing.

Currently, Vietnamese tourists can easily travel to Turkey with direct flights from Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City to Istanbul.

Flight time is about 11 hours, departing from Vietnam at about 11pm and arriving in Istanbul at about 5-6am (local time).

Travelers can rest on the night flight, before starting the next flight/tour in Türkiye or connecting to Europe, Africa.

Besides the hot air ballooning activity that has become a trademark, Turkey has many other destinations worth exploring such as: Topkapi Palace, Aya Sofya Church, Bosphorus Bridge, Pamukkale (Cotton Castle), Mount Nemrut...
