Revenue collection targets reached ahead of schedule.

Mr. Truong The Hung, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Director of the Tuyen Quang Provincial Tax Department, stated that the Resolution of the 17th Provincial Party Congress identified state budget revenue as one of the 15 important targets for the 2020-2025 term. Along with this, improving the quality and efficiency of financial work is considered a key solution to implement breakthroughs and create momentum for comprehensive socio -economic development. With high effort and determination, after only four years of implementation, by the end of 2024, the total state budget revenue in the province had reached over 4,000 billion VND, completing the target set by the Resolution of the 17th Provincial Party Congress for the 2020-2025 term one year ahead of schedule.

In 2025, the Provincial Tax Department aims to collect over 5,000 billion VND in budget revenue. To achieve this goal, the Tuyen Quang Provincial Tax Department will implement several key and comprehensive solutions. These include: proactively advising local Party committees and authorities, and coordinating with relevant departments to effectively and comprehensively manage all budget revenue sources in the province; ensuring the timely and accurate collection of all revenue into the State budget; and strengthening coordination among relevant departments in resolving administrative procedures, especially those related to investment, to accelerate the implementation of projects in the province, land management, and mineral resource management, thereby generating revenue for the budget.

At the same time, the provincial tax department is stepping up inspections and audits to combat tax evasion, focusing on areas such as: management of temporary construction projects; gasoline and oil trading; gold, silver, and gemstone trading; forest product processing; e-commerce activities; real estate transfers; and various types of services, etc. It is also strengthening dialogue and addressing taxpayer concerns, while promoting public awareness campaigns to improve the voluntary compliance of businesses and individuals with their tax obligations; and implementing comprehensive and timely policies to support tax exemptions, reductions, and extensions, as well as land lease fee waivers, to bring these support packages into effect and create momentum for businesses.

Building on the achievements of 2024 and the continuous successes of previous years, along with the close guidance and support from the Provincial People's Council, the Provincial People's Committee, the Ministry of Finance , and the General Department of Taxation, the Tuyen Quang Provincial Tax Department will continue to closely coordinate with local authorities, relevant sectors, and the business community in the province to strive to successfully complete the task of collecting state budget revenue in 2025.
