On March 1st, the management board of Thung Ui Cultural Tourism Area (Ninh Binh) announced that they have observed some individuals arbitrarily soliciting visitors, providing inaccurate information, and charging higher ticket prices than the listed rates. Specifically, the entrance fee, which is normally 150,000 VND per person, has been raised to 200,000 VND.
In addition, a motorbike taxi service offering "guide services" charging up to 200,000 VND has emerged, causing resentment and creating unnecessary misunderstandings regarding the official services of the tourist area.
To ensure the rights and experience of visitors, the Management Board requests that visitors refrain from receiving information or engaging in transactions with individuals soliciting outside the official reception area.
According to the announcement, tickets to visit Thung Ui are sold directly at the Bai Dinh Service Area. Visitors can also contact the hotline for advice and assistance. The Management Board recommends that visitors be vigilant and share information with friends and family "to have a safe and fulfilling visit".

During the 8-day Lunar New Year holiday (February 17-25), this destination welcomed approximately 70,000 visitors, with the peak on the third day of the Lunar New Year at 15,000.
The area from Ngoc Lake boat dock to the historical monument complex of Dai Kinh Thien - associated with the ritual of worshipping heaven during the Dinh, Early Le, and Ly dynasties - is always crowded. Many tourists have to queue for hours to enter the historical site.
Ms. Hoang Phuong Ha, a representative of the Management Board, said that they have noted mixed feedback from tourists regarding their actual experience and the level of completion of the tourist area during the peak Tet holiday season.
According to her, the landscaping and main construction items at Thung Ui have been completed and are ready for operation before the opening on February 17th. Currently, 95% of the items are completed, and the accommodation and dining areas reached 100% capacity during the recent Tet holiday, with no construction materials scattered around.

Thung Ui is part of the Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex, a World Cultural and Natural Heritage site in Tay Hoa Lu ward. It is a secluded valley with a natural lake, surrounded by limestone mountains, creating a tranquil and isolated atmosphere.
Thung Ui caters to the demand for "check-ins" and experiences of new cultural spaces, with a film set and historical setting feel, giving tourists more options besides familiar destinations.
In the future, Thung Ui will continue to complete auxiliary items, enhance the landscape once the trees are stable, strengthen the tour guide team, adjust the electric vehicle transfer process, and diversify experiential activities to improve service quality.
