Northern region

Today's live pig prices (December 15, 2024) in the northern region remain stable after a week of continuous price adjustments in various provinces and cities.

Currently, live pig prices in this region are fluctuating between 63,000 and 65,000 VND/kg. Provinces and cities such as Hanoi , Vinh Phuc, Thai Nguyen, Phu Tho, Tuyen Quang, Bac Giang, and Thai Binh all reached the highest transaction price nationwide at 65,000 VND/kg.

Central and Central Highlands regions

Similarly, today's (December 15, 2024) live pig prices in the Central and Central Highlands regions show no price adjustments in any provinces or cities.

Currently, traders in this region are buying live pigs at around 62,000 – 64,000 VND/kg. Specifically, live pigs in Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Lam Dong , and Binh Thuan are being sold at 64,000 VND/kg, the highest price in the region. Conversely, the lowest price in the region, 62,000 VND/kg, is found in Quang Tri, Thua Thien Hue, Quang Nam, and Khanh Hoa.

Southern region

Along with the two aforementioned regions, the price of live pigs in the Southern region today (December 15, 2024) also remained unchanged in the provinces and cities. Currently, traders in the South are buying live pigs at prices ranging from 62,000 to 64,000 VND/kg. Specifically, provinces and cities such as Ho Chi Minh City, Binh Phuoc, Dong Nai, Can Tho, Long An, Ba Ria - Vung Tau, Binh Duong, etc., have a common price of 64,000 VND/kg.

Overall, live pig prices maintained their rapid upward trend at the beginning of the week and gradually stabilized towards the end. According to reports, live pigs nationwide are currently being sold at around 62,000 – 65,000 VND/kg.
