The seminar was organized to mark the launch of the publication "The Path to the Future - Volume 1 " (People's Police Publishing House) by researcher Nguyen Xuan Tuan.
In addition to the author and researcher Nguyen Xuan Tuan, the program also features the following guests: Associate Professor Bui Hoai Son, a full-time member of the National Assembly's Committee on Culture and Society; writer and journalist Hoang Du, Editor-in-Chief of the Literature and Arts Times; Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Kim Anh, former Director of the Sports and Tourism Publishing House; and Dr. Nguyen Van Khuong, Director of the Institute of Educational and Environmental Sciences.
The Future Path - Volume 1, nearly 1,000 pages long, is the result of a 5-year journey (2019-2024) filled with the author's dedication and intellect, driven by the aspiration to contribute to the sustainable and modern development of Vietnam. Notably, the publication benefits from the participation of an advisory board comprised of prestigious organizations and experts such as Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Xuan Nhi, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Tien Luat, historian Le Van Lan, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Do Lai Thuy, Assoc. Prof. Nguyen Huu Son, and others.

The most important message of the book " The Path to the Future - Volume 1" lies in its ability to predict and provide direction in several key areas such as politics , society, economics, and culture. The book not only warns of unforeseen dangers and risks to individuals and the nation in the future, but goes further by offering strategic predictions about institutions, policies, the state apparatus, global trends, and Vietnam's role in the new context.

Notably, many of the predictions and recommendations in the book have gradually been realized in a short time after its publication in early 2025. From Central Committee resolutions and National Assembly laws to the directives and management of Party and State leaders and the dynamics in political and administrative life, many ideas such as inter-regional governance models, legislative reform, digital transformation, institutional savings, and the development of the private economy in the direction of "Openness - Humanity - Sustainability" have become a reality.

The predictions in "The Future Path - Volume 1" are not speculative theories of science fiction, but are built on practical observation, historical comparison, analysis of development laws, and a broad vision for institutional reform. Therefore, the book is not only an academic, cultural, and ideological work, but also a data repository of predictions, a roadmap for exploring the future, and a strategic reference source for institutional reform in Vietnam in the 21st century.
Within the framework of the seminar, the Organizing Committee officially launched the writing contest "Towards the Path to the Future" to encourage readers not only to read and critically analyze, but also to apply the spirit of books to real life, work, and policy. In addition, the contest aims to spread the idea of sustainable development from schools to businesses, from startups to cooperatives, from communities to policy forums and the media.
The contest accepts entries from now until the end of January 2026. The prize structure includes: 1 first prize worth 30 million VND, 2 second prizes worth 20 million VND each, 3 third prizes worth 10 million VND each, and 10 consolation prizes worth 3 million VND each.
