The discussion was held on the occasion of the launch of the publication Future Road - Volume 1 (People's Police Publishing House) by researcher Nguyen Xuan Tuan.
Also participating in the program, in addition to author - researcher Nguyen Xuan Tuan, there were guests: Associate Professor - Dr. Bui Hoai Son, full-time member of the National Assembly's Committee on Culture and Society; writer - journalist Hoang Du, Editor-in-Chief of Literature and Arts Times; Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Kim Anh, former Director of Sports and Tourism Publishing House; Dr. Nguyen Van Khuong, Director of the Institute of Education and Environmental Sciences.
The Road to the Future - Volume 1 is nearly 1,000 pages thick, the result of a 5-year journey (2019-2024) with a lot of enthusiasm and intelligence of the author with the aspiration to contribute to the sustainable and modern development of Vietnam. In particular, the publication has the participation of the Advisory Council of prestigious organizations and experts such as: Associate Professor - Dr. Tran Xuan Nhi, Associate Professor - Dr. Pham Tien Luat, historian Le Van Lan, Associate Professor - Dr. Do Lai Thuy, Associate Professor Nguyen Huu Son ...

The most important message of the book Future Path - Volume 1 lies in its ability to predict and orientate a number of key areas such as politics , society, economy, and culture. The book not only warns about unforeseen dangers and risks for individuals and nations in the future, but also goes further by making strategic predictions about institutions, policies, state apparatus, global trends, and the role of Vietnam in the new context.

Notably, many of the forecasts and recommendations in the book have gradually been realized in a short time after its publication in early 2025. From Central resolutions, National Assembly laws, to the direction of Party and State leaders and the movement in political and administrative life, many ideas such as inter-regional governance models, legislative innovation, digital transformation, institutional savings, and private economic development in the direction of "Openness - Humanity - Sustainability" have become reality.

The predictions in The Road to the Future - Volume 1 are not theoretical speculations, but are built on the basis of practical observation, historical comparison, analysis of development laws and a vision of profound institutional reform. The book is therefore not only an academic - cultural - ideological work, but also a repository of forecasting data, a map to explore the future, and a strategic reference source for Vietnam's institutional reform in the 21st century.
Within the framework of the discussion, the Organizing Committee officially launched the writing contest "Coming to the Future Road" to encourage readers not only to read and debate, but also to apply the spirit of the book to real life, work and policy. In addition, through the contest, the idea of sustainable development can be spread from schools to businesses, from startups to cooperatives, from communities to policy and media forums.
