On the morning of December 1st, a conference to commend outstanding Party members at the city level, organized by the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee's Organization Department, was held in Ho Chi Minh City.
At the conference, Mr. Nguyen Phuoc Loc, Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, stated that the conference aimed to commend, encourage, and motivate the outstanding contributions of exemplary Party members.
Party members are the core of the patriotic emulation movement, and an important foundation for building a clean and strong Party at the local level. At the same time, Party members have connected with, exemplified, and inspired all other Party members to participate and work together to build and develop Ho Chi Minh City.
Mr. Nguyen Phuoc Loc emphasized that 96 exemplary party members represent that policy, embodying the spirit of always striving for the strength and integrity of the party organization, and are also representative of the 258,768 party members of the city's party committee attending the conference.

For example, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh (79 years old), a Party member of Branch 4A, Quarter 4, Hiep Binh Chanh Ward, Thu Duc City, despite her advanced age, always learns and cares for the work of promoting education and talent; she maintains piggy banks for education in branches, groups, and among the people to support students from disadvantaged backgrounds.
Traditional medicine practitioner Trang Hong Chau (69 years old), a Party member and veteran of the Party Branch of Ward 3, Precinct 6, District 8, along with other Party members and neighborhood organizations, mobilized residents to contribute to upgrading alleys 1590 and 1598 Pham The Hien. In addition, as the Chairman of the District 8 Traditional Medicine Association, Mr. Chau participated effectively in COVID-19 prevention and control activities, receiving donated medicine from other provinces to provide free treatment for residents.
Mr. Cao Huy Binh, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Can Gio Protective Forest Management Board, is known for his attentive care of the material and spiritual well-being of Party members, officials, workers, and forest-guarding households. Mr. Binh has organized a strong force to manage and protect nearly 35,000 hectares of the Can Gio protective forest, minimizing resource damage.
Head of the Propaganda Department of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, Phan Nguyen Nhu Khue, congratulated the Party members who were commended.
According to Nguyen Phuoc Loc, Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, achieving a title and gaining respect from everyone is difficult, but maintaining that title and affection is even more challenging. Therefore, he hopes that the commended Party members will not become complacent but will continue to strive and contribute even more.
In the coming period, the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee has many important tasks, and the political system is implementing many solutions to carry out resolutions on the development of Ho Chi Minh City. Therefore, he suggested that the Party committees of districts, counties, and Thu Duc City regularly implement solutions to improve the quality of grassroots Party organizations.
The Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee hopes to receive feedback, suggestions, and ideas from exemplary Party members on solutions in Party building and government building. At the same time, it hopes that Party members will regularly pay attention to, encourage, and support young Party members to continue striving and training to become exemplary Party members.
