On the afternoon of July 14th, the Police of District 8 (Ho Chi Minh City) coordinated with relevant professional units to clarify the cause of the fire at the Good House apartment building.
Firefighters arrived at the scene.
At approximately 2:30 PM on the same day, a fire broke out in an apartment on the 14th floor of an apartment building on Truong Dinh Hoi Street, Ward 16, District 8.
At this time, residents in the surrounding area tried to put out the fire, while many others tried to escape via the stairwell.
The fire and rescue police force of District 8 Police Department deployed fire trucks and officers to the scene, approaching the fire from multiple directions and spraying water to control the blaze.
By around 3 PM, the fire was largely under control. However, some property was damaged.
Reportedly, the Good House apartment building has 15 floors and approximately 252 apartments.
