The trailer for the movie "The Four Guardians" by Tran Thanh released on the evening of December 20 is receiving mixed reactions from the audience.
The Guardian Quartet from director Tran Thanh is one of three Vietnamese film projects participating in the 2025 Lunar New Year film race. After the showcase held on the evening of December 20 in Ho Chi Minh City, the male director officially announced the trailer of the project.
Appearing at the beginning of the trailer are Quoc Anh (Quoc Anh) and Tieu Vy (Quynh Anh), the male/female lead duo of The Guardian Quartet . The two were lovers, spent time together and then officially became husband and wife. However, their marriage gradually cooled down and faced storms when the beautiful Karen (Ky Duyen) appeared next to Quoc Anh. This made Quynh Anh worried. After that, she went to see Jessica (Le Duong Bao Lam) to have her tarot cards read and ask if her husband was having an affair.
In addition, Quynh Anh's married life is always disrupted by the "four defenders" who are close friends and relatives such as Aunt Bon (Le Giang), Uncle Muoi Mot (Tran Thanh), and Kieu (Uyen An).
After the trailer was released, many movie lovers left disappointed comments. Some people thought the trailer was bland and not enough to make people laugh for a comedy project. The acting and dialogue of the male lead Quoc Anh and Miss Tieu Vy continued to be limited. Ky Duyen had a notable line, but the beauty queen's acting ability was still questioned.

Sharing about the project released during Tet this year, director Tran Thanh said that it is different from previous psychological films such as Godfather, Mai, Mrs. Nu's House , with The Avengers , he wants to bring laughter to the audience.

Billionaire Kiss Thu Trang's film is the third Vietnamese film to appear on the Tet film race this year.
