With Kane's current contract running until 2027, Bayern are considering extending it to keep their star striker. However, Dietmar Hamann, a former midfielder who made 143 appearances for Bayern, believes this would be a crazy move.

Hamann analyzed: "It would be crazy for Bayern to extend Kane's contract right now. He will be 34 when his current contract expires. It's impossible to extend a player who still has more than 20 months left on his contract. Let's wait and see if Kane can score against top opponents like PSG or Arsenal."

Contrary to Hamann's skepticism, many Bayern fans are urging the club's management to extend Kane's contract soon. His impressive goal-scoring form over the past two years has convinced a section of the "Bavarian" supporters, even though Kane is already 32 years old.

According to Bild , Kane's contract includes a release clause worth £56.7 million, which can be activated if he wishes to leave in January 2026. However, Bayern Munich has denied this information.

For his part, Kane affirmed his happiness in Germany: "I'm very happy at Bayern. I have two years left on my contract and I enjoy every minute on the pitch. I love the atmosphere here, I love the team and the coach. The future? I just want to focus on this season."

Since the start of this season, Kane has scored 19 goals in 11 matches across all competitions.
