During his lifetime, translator and art critic Duong Tuong once remarked that Le Thu's paintings exhibited "a contrast between the boundless immensity of the earth and sky and the smallness and finitude of humanity, or of human existence."
Artist Le Thu will hold a solo exhibition titled "Nghe Du" ( Artistic Wandering) from January 16th to 21st at the Vietnam Fine Arts Museum. The exhibition will showcase 30 oil paintings, reflecting the artist's passion and dedication, including: Autumn Afternoon, Crescent Moon, Changing Seasons, Cold Mist, Dawn, and Streak of Light … Throughout the "Nghe Du" exhibition, the prevailing theme is vast, free, and expansive space, revealed through each artwork. "Empty spaces always fascinate me intensely. I wander within them and feel free," shared artist Le Thu.
