In its journey to realize its goal of becoming a comprehensive growth hub in the North, Quang Ninh is affirming its strategic vision by placing integrated and modern services in a leading position, making tourism a key economic sector linked to sustainable development. With a determination to improve quality and boost investment attraction, the province is focusing all resources on high-quality tourism and service projects, especially prioritizing green and sustainable tourism models. Beyond developing a well-planned golf course system, Quang Ninh is also urgently developing and implementing a plan for the Yen Tu area, linked to the project for preserving and promoting the value of the World Heritage Site of the Yen Tu - Vinh Nghiem - Con Son - Kiet Bac complex of historical and scenic sites. This is a crucial step in the strategy of developing a heritage economy, harmoniously combined with the night economy and urban economy to elevate the value of the World Heritage Site - Ha Long Bay to a new level.
The specific target for the coming year is a challenging yet promising one: to attract 22 million tourists, including at least 5.2 million international visitors, and to achieve tourism revenue of 65 trillion VND. To achieve this, the province is actively supporting investors in completing key projects such as the high-end Monbay Van Don resort and entertainment complex and other integrated tourism service areas in the Van Don Economic Zone. In addition, efforts are being intensified to connect and utilize flights through Van Don International Airport and international sea tourism routes to diversify products, while coordinating the organization of large-scale cultural and artistic events with the participation of globally renowned artists to create strong media appeal.
Alongside tourism, the logistics and trade sectors are also witnessing significant transformations as they apply Industry 4.0 technologies to export promotion activities. Quang Ninh is focusing on investing in multimodal transport infrastructure, determined to establish regional and inter-regional logistics centers in prime locations such as the Quang Yen and Van Don coastal economic zones and the Mong Cai border gate. In particular, the capacity of specialized warehouses for strategic commodities such as coal, petroleum, and liquefied natural gas in the Cam Pha and Con Ong - Hon Net areas is being comprehensively upgraded, alongside the strong development of bonded warehouse and border trade services in Tien Yen and Hai Ha.

Another breakthrough is the implementation of the pilot project for smart border gates in Mong Cai (Vietnam) - Dongxing (China), along with the Cross-Border Industry Cooperation Zone, creating a dynamic cross-border economic corridor. To create a solid foundation for maritime economic activities, the province is mobilizing significant capital to build a synchronized, modern deep-water port system and world-class tourist ports. Important port infrastructure projects such as Van Ninh, Nam Tien Phong, Bac Tien Phong, and Dam Nha Mac are being accelerated, accompanied by key dredging projects in Van Gia, Song Chanh, and Hon Gai. All these efforts not only aim to strengthen the local economy but also affirm Quang Ninh's aspiration to create a transparent and modern business environment, and to soon achieve the goal of becoming a centrally-governed city with international competitiveness.
