The ceremony was attended by the Parent-Teacher Association, all parents of grade 12 students, and students from all grade levels, as well as teachers and staff of the school.
With the aim of helping 12th-grade students reflect on their meaningful three years at high school and express their sincere gratitude to their teachers and parents, demonstrating the spirit of "respecting teachers and valuing education," cherishing "the efforts of fathers and mothers," reminding people of "loyalty and gratitude," and "remembering the source of one's blessings," as well as marking a milestone in their maturity, the ceremony was organized with a special chronological structure through short plays set to music: The timeline began with a scene of going to school far away by the 12A4 class, followed by a scene of gratitude to parents by the 12A6 class, a scene of friendship by the 12A3 class; a scene of gratitude to teachers by the 12A1 class, and finally a scene expressing dreams by the 12A5 class. These scenes served as reflections of the three years of high school. Through each scene, every 12th-grade student seemed to find a reflection of their younger selves. During the Gratitude Ceremony, all 12th-grade students had the opportunity to express their feelings, even those performing on stage for the first time. They expressed their gratitude to their teachers, parents, friends, and school, and conveyed a message of " Learn, learn more, learn forever " to the 11th and 10th-grade students. Every moment of the ceremony showcased the students' growth, but most impressive was the way they spoke about their aspirations for success and their determination to achieve their dreams in front of their loved ones.
With genuine emotions and natural recollections of warm memories shared by students with their teachers and friends, the Appreciation Ceremony brought unforgettable feelings to parents, teachers, and the students themselves. The ceremony concluded with the image of dreams soaring into the blue sky. Each small balloon carried a big dream. 179 dreams of 12th-grade students, along with the messages "Determined to achieve 100% success in the 2018 National High School Graduation Exam"; "Upholding the traditions of Bao Yen No. 2 High School"; "Reaching for dreams," are flying high and far.
