For this comeback, the band presents 10 songs, including the lead single "Soạn," which was released and received positive feedback from the audience. The idea for their second studio album was conceived and written by The Cassette from early 2022 to the end of 2023, taking two years to develop, complete, and publish.

The album begins with the intro "From the Abyss…" as a gateway to the inner world , where the echoes of a deep abyss reverberate, a multi-layered opening of instrumental music marking the start of the adventure. Following "Hanging," the feeling of aimless suspension in mid-air and the struggle in the darkness of "Composition" gradually gives way to light peeking through the nooks and crannies of "November," "Don't Go,"… brighter, warmer tones emerge with stories of love and life, concluding with "...To the Edge of Light."
The transition from the abyss to the edge of light doesn't happen abruptly, but rather gradually through two contrasting phases of profound contemplation. The entire album is seen as The Cassette's personal diary, filled with sincere confessions and overflowing with both joyful and sorrowful emotions.
"From the Abyss to the Edge of Light" somewhat reflects the musical style of its predecessor, "Firefly Forest." The division into two distinct lines—abyss and the edge of light—creates an interesting contrast for the album.

With darkness representing the unconventional and edgy ideas in rock, most clearly evident in "Soạn," considered the band's most edgy song to date. Meanwhile, the imagery of light woven into the gentle melodies of "November," "Playlist," etc., maintains the band's rustic and simple identity from their debut album "Firefly Forest," peaceful but not boring.
The album's main genre is alternative rock, but it also features highlights such as emotionally rich ballads like "That Year's Rain" and "Don't Go." The combination of contrasting visuals and diverse genres enriches the listening experience and easily conveys the band's unique style to the listener.
