In this comeback, the band brought 10 songs including the opening song "Soan" which was released and received positive reactions from the audience. The idea for the second studio album was nurtured and written by The Cassette from the beginning of 2022 to the end of 2023, taking up to two years to develop, complete and publish.

The album starts with the intro "From the abyss..." like a gate opening to the inner world , hearing the deep pit echoing sounds from afar, an opening with many layers of sound from the musical instruments, the adventure has officially begun. Continuing with "Treo", the feeling of floating aimlessly in the air and struggling in the darkness of "Soan", the light gradually glimmers through the corners of "November", "Don't go"... brighter, warmer colors with stories about love, life and ending with "... To the edge of light".
The transition from the abyss to the edge of light is not sudden but a slow change through two contrasting stages of deep contemplation. The entire album is considered as The Cassette's own diary, filled with sincere confessions and filled with emotions of both joy and sadness.
"From the Abyss to the Edge of Light" somewhat echoes the musical color of its predecessor, "Firefly Forest". The division of the two boundaries of the abyss and the edge of light creates an interesting contrast for the album.

With darkness representing the unconventional and edgy ideas in rock, most clearly present in "Soan", the song is considered the most edgy of the group to date. Meanwhile, the image of light creeps into the gentle melodies of "November", "Playlist"... maintaining the rustic, simple identity of the group from the debut album "Firefly Forest", peaceful but not boring.
The main genre of this album is alternative rock, but there are still highlights such as emotional ballads such as "That Rainstorm of the Year" or "Don't Go". The combination of contrasting images and diverse genres makes the listening experience richer and conveys the band's color to the listener in the easiest way.
