England suffers historic defeat.

In the early hours of June 11th, England lost to Senegal 1-3 in a friendly match at their home stadium, City Ground.

For the first time in history, England conceded three goals to an African opponent in a single match. England launched a full-scale attack in the final minutes and nearly equalized when Jude Bellingham put the ball into the net. However, referee Stephanie Frappart disallowed the goal, ruling that Levi Colwill had handled the ball.

While the home team was busy searching for an equalizer, Senegal delivered the finishing blow in injury time with a goal from Cheikh Sabaly, securing an impressive 3-1 victory.

This result not only extended Senegal's unbeaten run to 16 matches (11 wins, 5 draws), but also served as a wake-up call for England as World Cup qualifiers resume in September. With their first defeat under Tuchel, the "Three Lions" clearly have a lot of work to do if they want to end their trophy drought.
