The Vietnamese women's U20 won the first place in Group F in the first round of qualifying and will face Australia, Iran and Lebanon in the second qualifying round of the Asian Cup women's U1 tournament.
On June 2, the press conference before the tournament took place with the participation of 6 teams.
Speaking at the press conference, Vietnam Women's U20 head coach Akira Ijiri said: "We have completed 100% of the preparation process for this qualifying round. The Vietnamese women's U20 team has no players injured, which is important at this time.
We have learned about Iran women's U20 and know this is a very strong team in terms of individual technique and possesses a good physical foundation and tactical thinking. We prepare carefully for each match and can't say much about the final match against Australia U20 at the moment."

Meanwhile, the captain of Vietnam women's U20, defender Le Thi Bao Tram expressed: "The Iranian women's U20 in the second qualifying round is a difficult opponent to play. My team and I will try to get 2 points on the opening day. Playing against the top teams in the continent is a good opportunity for me to show my ability."
With the Iran U20 team, coach Morgan Jahan-nejati said he had prepared everything to face U20 Vietnam.
The Iranian women's U20 captain, Mohadesheh Zolfi, said that the team has not fully adapted to training in Vietnam: "Meeting the Vietnamese women's U20 is a difficult match, but I hope to have good results. There are differences in the 2nd qualifying round, the training in Vietnam and Iran is also different. We are still trying to control and adapt to this. We also have plans to overcome difficulties.”
The opening match of U20 Vietnam against U20 Iran will take place at 19:3 on June 6. The remaining 2 matches against U20 Lebanon and U20 Australia will take place in the same time frame on June 5 and 7 at Viet Tri Stadium, Phu Tho province.
