Urban sanitation work is enhanced during the holidays.

Specifically, HEPCO is implementing a large-scale general cleaning to beautify and maintain urban hygiene. This work includes: Increasing garbage collection; sweeping streets and sidewalks; removing illegal billboards and advertisements; cleaning sewers and drainage systems; and trimming trees and beautifying flower beds and parks. HEPCO workers are divided into shifts, increasing night shifts, combining mechanical and manual methods to ensure that main roads are always clear and clean. In addition, the public trash bin system is also cleaned and supplemented in crowded areas to better serve residents and tourists.

In particular, HEPCO arranged forces to be on duty 24/7 at "hot spots" in the city center, quickly handling any arising situations, contributing to maintaining urban environmental hygiene during the holiday. In parallel, the unit also increased lighting on roads, relics, and prominent locations of Hue city such as Trang Tien bridge, Nguyen Hoang bridge... to help Hue have more highlights, serving people and tourists before, during and after Independence Day.

Mr. Tran Huu An, Deputy General Director of HEPCO shared that maintaining urban hygiene is not only a regular task but also a responsibility and pride of the HEPCO collective when contributing to building a radiant and clean Hue, welcoming the important national holiday.
