Mom rents out a room for her son for the 10th grade entrance exam
On the afternoon of June 6, in the middle of a hot sunny day, Ms. Loan sat with her back against the wall, sometimes looking at her phone to see the time, waiting to hear from her child little by little. “Although the motel room is only about 6km from the test site, I am not sure about resting. I am very nervous about taking the exam, I want when I step out of the exam room, I will see my mother right away” – Ms. Loan confided.
More than a month ago, Long had an accident at the school library, was cut into his hand by a broken glass door, and had to undergo surgery to connect tendons in his right hand.
“Nine years of studying hard, but close to the exam day, I had an accident. Everyone at home is sad and depressed. However, the boy is very strong, the son also advises his mother not to worry." - Loan smiled
In this year's 10th grade entrance exam in Ho Chi Minh City, 8 candidates had an accident in their hands, had to ask the test administrator to write for all 3 subjects and 1 deaf candidate was given a hearing aid.
In order to make it easier for her children to take the exam, limit moving and affect the wound, Ms. Loan decided to rent a room near the exam site for her child.
As soon as the exam time was announced, Long was the first candidate to step out of the exam room. The student looked outside to find his mother's shadow. “Mom, I did a good job!” - Long said while running towards his mother.
“No matter what the exam results are, the son has excelled beyond the family's expectations. Mom is very proud of you! ” – Ms. Loan said
Long shared that he was mentally prepared for this exam. Teachers and friends also encouraged Long to feel more secure. “I have more than a month to get used to the written exam. Fortunately, both literature and English are doing very well,” said Long happily.
