In implementing the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union's Project on preserving and disseminating historical stories with the theme "Stories of the Fiery Era" (the Project), launched by the Central Committee of the Youth Union, in recent times, the Youth Union branches at all levels in the province have carried out many practical activities to educate revolutionary traditions and awaken national pride in the younger generation, aiming to inherit and continue writing "Stories of the Fiery Era".

Through seminars, meetings with veterans, and activities such as collecting books, newspapers, and documents about historical stories, youth union members not only gain access to heroic memories but also contribute to spreading the humanistic values and significance of glorious historical chapters to the community.
With the goal of fostering ideals, educating patriotism, and enhancing a sense of responsibility among the younger generation, the Project aims to collect and preserve historical documents, while simultaneously conveying the stories of historical witnesses such as: Heroic Vietnamese Mothers; Heroes of the People's Armed Forces; veterans, former youth volunteers; and youth union officials who participated in the resistance war... into digital products on online platforms. This contributes to preserving and spreading revolutionary traditional values, while also inspiring practical actions, enhancing responsibility, and fostering a pioneering spirit and dedication among young people towards the cause of building and developing their homeland in the new era.
To innovate methods of propaganda and bring historical stories closer to the younger generation, the Youth Union of Yen My commune organized activities to learn about history, and at the same time, developed digital products from meetings with veterans such as: creating video clips, infographics, digitizing documents... helping union members and young people proactively access technology, develop their creativity in transmitting information, and contribute to widely spreading stories of the "war era" on social media platforms. Comrade Pham Van Vuong, Secretary of the Youth Union of Yen My commune, said: Through the implementation of the Project, young people have gained a deeper understanding of the sacrifices of their ancestors for independence, freedom and the cause of protecting the Fatherland, thereby further appreciating the value of peace and striving in their studies and work to build a more developed homeland.
In Thu Vu commune, over 1,100 historical stories have been collected by youth union members from books, newspapers, and documents, forming a rich archive that helps young people easily access and learn about history in a proactive and scientific way. After collection, the stories are categorized by theme, summarized, and digitized into text files, infographics, or articles to share on the commune's Youth Union social media page, creating a widespread impact in the community.
Ms. Tran Thi Dinh, a youth union member in the commune, shared: "During the process of searching for and compiling documents, I realized there were many historical stories that I hadn't known before. Each story helped me understand more about the sacrifices of previous generations. I think this is a meaningful activity, making a positive contribution to the education of revolutionary traditions for young people in the locality."

To ensure the project's effective implementation, the Youth Union branches in communes and wards throughout the province have encouraged members to collect materials from books, newspapers, and other official sources on local history; innovated methods of communication and developed digital media products; incorporated the study of "stories from the fiery era" into branch meetings and extracurricular activities at schools; promoted propaganda work to raise awareness and responsibility among Youth Union members and young people in preserving and spreading historical values; and regularly implemented a series of activities to educate on traditions, foster patriotism, and instill unwavering faith in the Party among the younger generation. As a result, from July 2025 to the present, more than 22,000 stories have been shared throughout the province, becoming an important source of information for the education of Youth Union members and young people.
In the coming period, the Provincial Youth Union will continue to encourage its members to actively participate in activities to collect, preserve, and create a widespread impact of historical stories; promote the application of digital technology to improve the effectiveness of accessing and transmitting documents to a large number of youth union members; coordinate with specialized units to supplement official sources of documents, improve the quality of propaganda and education products on revolutionary traditions...
