VinUni receives QS 5-star overall certification.

VinUni has become the youngest university in the world, with the fastest rate of achievement, to receive QS 5-star accreditation.

VinUni is one of the youngest universities in the world to achieve the comprehensive QS 5-star rating. QS Stars is part of the QS (Quacquarelli Symonds) educational quality assessment system – a scale of educational quality recognized by renowned universities worldwide.

The scale is recognized by world- renowned universities.

The ranking system is based on criteria such as learning experience, student outcomes, sustainability, global integration, research, and innovation. A 5-star overall rating is awarded to universities that achieve excellent scores across all criteria.

According to information from VinUni, the university has been accredited by QS based on the latest standards with stringent criteria.

Specifically, VinUni was awarded 5 stars in 9 areas: global integration, transparent governance, strong training programs, academic development, teaching quality, employment opportunities, facilities, culture and arts, and social impact.

In terms of global integration , VinUni possesses a vast network of research and academic collaborations with reputable global partners, and a high proportion of international faculty and students from more than 20 countries around the world.

Regarding the criterion of transparent governance , VinUni is recognized for its continuous innovation in its governance system. VinUni's policies and mechanisms are geared towards sustainable development, equal inclusion, and the satisfaction of faculty and staff.

Regarding its strong training programs , VinUni has selected the health sciences group, including residency programs and nursing programs, to participate in the accreditation process.

The programs have demonstrated outstanding quality by achieving rigorous international accreditations such as ACGME-I for the residency program, ACEN for the nursing program, and a 100% employment rate for graduates immediately after graduation.

Regarding the Academic Development criterion, 100% of faculty members participate in training programs on active teaching and learning methods. The creativity in teaching methods of VinUni faculty members was demonstrated through the QS Reimagine Education Award 2023.

Regarding teaching quality , the satisfaction rate with teaching quality and learning experience far exceeds the requirements for achieving the maximum QS 5-star rating.

High employment rate for graduates.

Notably, just two months after graduation, 26.6% of VinUni's students were accepted into postgraduate programs at prestigious universities around the world.

VinUni students enjoy personalized learning experiences through academic advising from their first year and support from an advanced Canvas-based Learning Management System (LMS), along with 5-star standard facilities from the university's inception.

Regarding employment opportunities , just two months after the first graduating class, the employment and entrepreneurship rate of VinUni students reached 80%, compared to the QS requirement of 90% after 24 months. Surveys of student employment show that the majority of students secured jobs at multinational corporations or leading Vietnamese companies such as E&Y, McKinsey, Google, Bosch, IBM, Techcombank, etc.
