Gyokeres believes Sporting prevented him from leaving.

The Swedish striker is MU's top target in the summer transfer window this year. Gyokeres' contract has a release clause worth 100 million euros, however, between this striker and Sporting there was a "secret agreement" from the beginning of the season that he would be allowed to leave for a fee of only 60 million euros plus 10 million euros in additional fees.

However, according to Record , Sporting's board now wants to raise the price to 80 million euros, making Gyokeres extremely angry because he feels betrayed. In response, Gyokeres removed all links to Sporting on his personal page.

The 27-year-old striker joined Sporting from Coventry and scored an incredible 97 goals in 102 games. After winning the domestic double with the club last season, Gyokeres is said to have said goodbye to the fans.

However, the transfer deal still has many obstacles, especially the price Sporting is asking. Meanwhile, MU is thirsty for a real "number 9" after recruiting Matheus Cunha from Wolves for 62.5 million pounds, and is negotiating with Bryan Mbeumo of Brentford.

Coach Amorim hopes to reunite with Gyokeres to complete his preferred 3-4-2-1 attack. But this deal will be very difficult. Gyokeres personally wants to join Old Trafford but the problem is that the "Red Devils" have to agree on a price with the Portuguese club.
