The people know, the people understand, the people believe.
Dak Lak province recognizes that external information is a key channel for conveying the Party and State's guidelines, policies, and strategies to all segments of the population. It also serves as a bridge of friendship, contributing to strengthening trust, solidarity, and firmly protecting national sovereignty and border security. Therefore, the Border Guard Force regularly carries out information and propaganda activities in border areas. This is not only a political task but also a sacred responsibility of every officer, soldier, and citizen in safeguarding the nation's borders, strengthening solidarity and close ties between the people on both sides of the border, and building a peaceful, friendly, cooperative, and sustainably developing border.
As a resident of the border region, Mr. Bui Vang in Hamlet 3, Ea Bung Commune, received information from Border Guard officers and propaganda officials on the Party and State's policies and guidelines regarding the border, as well as regulations on border control. They also shared meaningful stories and exemplary figures in the struggle to protect the border. Mr. Vang stated that he understands his role and responsibility in protecting national territorial sovereignty . Furthermore, based on the information and knowledge he has gained, he actively promotes the policy of building a peaceful and friendly border with neighboring countries, fostering unity and solidarity, and maintaining security and order in the border region to the people in his hamlet.
In addition to carrying out information and propaganda work, Border Guard units also advise and coordinate the effective implementation of mass movements and models for border protection such as: "Self-management of border lines and markers", "Self-management of security and order in villages and hamlets", "All citizens participate in protecting national territorial sovereignty and border security in the new situation"...

| Officers from the Dak Rue Border Gate Border Guard Station are disseminating information and providing support to residents of Ea Bung border commune. |
Ea Bung is a border commune with a large area of 390,081.9 km² and a population of over 9,500 people. The level of education among the population is uneven, and the risk of being influenced by false narratives that sow discord and undermine national unity is ever-present. In response to this reality, the Ea Bung commune government has proactively reformed its communication methods, bringing information closer to the people.
Through close coordination with forces stationed in the area, especially the Dak Rue Border Gate Border Guard Station, the "Border Guard Loudspeaker" model was implemented in July 2025. High-powered loudspeakers are installed on the back of motorcycles used by border guard officers, traveling to 12 villages in the area to broadcast concise and easy-to-understand information about administrative reform, digital transformation, and border regulations.
Major Nguyen Thanh Son, Team Leader of the Mass Mobilization Team at Dak Rue Border Gate Border Guard Station, said that this model not only helps people understand and comply with the Party's guidelines and policies and the State's laws, but also creates a close bond between the Border Guard and the people.
The soft power of "skillful mass mobilization"
The Dak Lak Border Guard Command is responsible for managing and protecting a national border section over 165 km long, including nearly 72 km of land border adjacent to Mondulkiri province, Kingdom of Cambodia; a maritime border over 93 km long; and a sea and island area of 3,065 km² .
In order to mobilize the combined strength of the entire political system of the province in the cause of border protection, the Provincial Border Guard Command, together with departments, agencies, and mass organizations, has implemented many activities focused on the border and islands, working with localities to gradually stabilize, improve, and enhance the lives of the people, especially ethnic minorities. This is an important basis for consolidating the people's trust in the Party, the State, and the army, creating a "people's defense posture" to firmly protect national territorial sovereignty and border security in the new situation.

| The officers and soldiers of the Ia Rvê Border Guard Post always show concern for the people living in the border area. |
In addition, the Party Committee and the Command of the Provincial Border Guard Command directed the Border Guard Posts to advise the Party Committees and local authorities in border areas to organize and guide the people to participate in movements and models such as: "Border and Island Lessons", "QR Code Boards for Disseminating and Propagating the Vietnamese Border Guard Law and Regulations on Preventing and Combating IUU", "Cadres, Union Members, and Youth Not Violating the Law", "Villages and Hamlets Free from Drugs and Social Evils", "Families and Women Not Violating Border Regulations"; at the same time, maintaining and promoting the effectiveness of "Legal Bookcases", legal counseling clubs, "Borderland Lessons", "Border Guard Loudspeakers", "One Question, One Answer Per Week"...
Through these models, the sense of national identity and border awareness among citizens, particularly officials and people in border areas, has been significantly enhanced; people actively participate in signing commitments to abide by border regulations and rules on security and order... This contributes to gathering and mobilizing the strength of the entire population, creating a "people's belt" to participate in border protection, and building and strengthening the all-people border defense system.
In addition, the Provincial Border Guard Command also directly implemented many movements, programs, and models to help people develop socio-economic conditions and achieve sustainable poverty reduction, such as: "Spring Border Guard Campaign: Warming the Hearts of the People in the Villages," "Helping Children Go to School - Children Adopted by Border Guard Posts," "Clean Water ATMs in the Border Region," etc., contributing to solving difficult and urgent problems for the people and strengthening the close relationship between Border Guard officers and soldiers and the people in border areas.
