Following the administrative reorganization, Quang Lich commune has nearly 6,000 households and over 18,600 inhabitants, divided into 17 villages. A review revealed that many villages currently do not fully meet the required criteria. Based on the local situation, geographical location, cultural and religious characteristics, and the history of the residential areas, the commune has developed a plan to reorganize the villages in accordance with regulations. According to the plan, the commune expects to reduce the number of villages from 17 to 9. The new villages after reorganization will have at least 400 households; priority will be given to villages located adjacent to each other, with similar cultural traditions and customs, and that are convenient for community life, labor, production, and population management.

To implement the project, the commune has established 15 working groups to gather public opinion. It is expected that the process of gathering feedback from household representatives on the draft project will be completed no later than June 21, 2026.

The rearrangement and reorganization of villages aims to meet the practical requirements of organizing a two-tiered local government model; contributing to streamlining the apparatus and improving the effectiveness and efficiency of management and administration of the political system at the grassroots level.
