According to the plan, after the reorganization is completed, Thang Binh commune will have 21 villages, a reduction of 2 villages compared to the current number. All merged villages will meet the current regulations regarding household size.
Along with streamlining the administrative apparatus, the plan specifies the renaming of villages after the restructuring. Accordingly, Village 1 will be renamed Dong Thai; Village 2 will be Ha Lam Tay; Village 3 will be Ha Kieu; Village 4 will be Ha Lam Dong; Villages 5 and 6 will be merged into Ha Lam Village; Village 7 will become Nam Ha Lam; Village 8 will be Quan Huong; Village 9 will be Chung Phuoc; and the two villages of Lieu Tri and Lieu Thanh will be merged into Binh Nguyen Village.
The villages that retain their old names include: Thanh Ly 1, Thanh Ly 2, Binh Hiep, Ngoc Son Dong, Ngoc Son Tay, Tat Vien, Quy Huong, Quy My, Quy Phuoc, Quy Xuan, Quy Thanh 1 and Quy Thanh 2. The total population of the commune currently stands at 14,260 people.

The session voted to approve resolutions on the reorganization and streamlining of village organization and operation; and temporarily allocated 39 positions for salaried employees funded by the state budget in 2026 to the commune health station.
The People's Council of the commune requests the People's Committee of the commune to promptly implement the resolutions that have been passed; direct relevant units to develop specific plans and roadmaps for implementation, ensuring compliance with regulations, transparency, and suitability to local realities.
