The "Flowering Utility Pole" project, implemented by youth union members in Vinh Yen ward, contributes to beautifying the streets and spreading a civilized urban lifestyle.

To strengthen the unity of the entire population in building a cultured and civilized urban lifestyle, the Fatherland Front of Vinh Yen ward has actively coordinated with political and social organizations to promote the campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas" in conjunction with the movement "All people unite to build a cultured life". Propaganda work has been reformed to raise awareness and self-discipline among the people in complying with regulations on urban management, traffic safety, and environmental protection; strictly implementing conventions and customs to build a civilized lifestyle... From the consensus and direct participation of the people, many models for building a civilized lifestyle in the ward have been formed, maintained, and effectively promoted, such as: "Self-managed residential area for environmental sanitation and security"; "Self-managed bright - green - clean - beautiful - safe road"; "Residential area free from crime and social evils"; “Streets free of illegal advertisements and flyers”; “Veteran-managed road sections”; “Youth-managed road sections”… contribute to changing the urban landscape and awakening the sense of responsibility and awareness of each citizen.

Comrade Nguyen Xuan Huy, Chairman of the Fatherland Front Committee of Vinh Yen Ward, said: Every year, residential areas launch and organize for households to register and fully implement the five contents of the campaign. The scoring and evaluation of cultural titles are implemented seriously and transparently; outstanding collectives and individuals are promptly commended and rewarded, creating motivation to promote the sustainable spread of the movement. The Fatherland Front Committee and political and social organizations of the ward are currently effectively maintaining more than 118 roads that meet the criteria of "bright - green - clean - beautiful" and 44 model roads.

To concretize the contents of the campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas," the Fatherland Front and political and social organizations in Vinh Thanh commune have built and replicated many effective models such as: "Self-managed neighborhood groups," "Women's flower-lined roads," "Lighting up rural roads," "Mural roads," "Self-managed veteran roads," etc. The people in the area have united to help each other develop the economy , reduce poverty sustainably; preserve the rural landscape and environment; work together to build a cultured and civilized lifestyle, ensure security and order; promote good traditional cultural values; and promote cultural, artistic, sports, education, talent, and gratitude movements.

Hoa Loan village is a shining example of building a cultured and civilized lifestyle in Vinh Thanh commune. For many years now, it has become a tradition for the villagers to clean the village roads and alleys on the 20th of each month, and to maintain the flower-lined streets. This activity not only makes the village greener, cleaner, and more beautiful, but also strengthens community bonds and solidarity. For many years, Hoa Loan village has been awarded the title of "Cultural Village," with the percentage of culturally exemplary families consistently exceeding 95%. The villagers voluntarily renovate their houses, gardens, alleys, and fences according to the plan; actively contribute resources to building cultural institutions, developing the economy, and helping each other reduce poverty. Comrade Nguyen Van Thang - Secretary of the Hoa Loan Village Party Branch, informed: “From 2021 to the present, the people have contributed about 400 million VND to build the village cultural house; more than 300 million VND to build a fence, beautify the grounds and install a security camera system. Cultural, artistic, and sports activities are taking place enthusiastically; the implementation of civilized lifestyles in weddings, funerals, festivals, and birthday celebrations has seen many positive changes...”.

The people of Hoa Loan village, Vinh Thanh commune, plant and care for flowerbeds and ornamental trees along the roads, creating a bright, green, clean, beautiful, and civilized rural environment.

The campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas" has been effectively implemented and is becoming an important driving force creating significant changes in community life. Through these activities, the role of the people as the main actors in building a healthy, progressive, and sustainable cultural environment has been clearly affirmed, contributing to improving the material and spiritual lives of the community and creating an important impetus for socio-economic development.

To ensure the "National Unity Movement for Building New Rural Areas and Civilized Urban Areas" continues to deepen, functional agencies and localities throughout the province will continue to innovate the content and methods of propaganda in a practical, effective manner, closely aligned with the lives and needs of the people. The focus will be on raising awareness and fostering a sense of self-discipline and responsibility among individuals, families, and communities in building a civilized lifestyle. This will create momentum to promote emulation movements, strengthen national unity, and contribute to building a healthy and progressive cultural environment, meeting the requirements of sustainable development of the province in the new period.
