Connect with people through concrete actions

Tri Phu commune has 33 party cells and 513 party members. The commune party committee affirms its leadership role, always accompanying the people in all activities to develop their lives. Party Secretary and Chairman of the People's Council Le Ngoc Tan said: "Building and developing the Party at the grassroots level starts from each party member, from public ethics and the spirit of serving the people".

The Party Committee assigned cadres to attend Party cell meetings, grasp the situation, and resolve difficulties right at the grassroots level. By the end of October 2025, the commune had trained 11 outstanding masses, admitted 11 new Party members, officially transferred the Party to 15 comrades, awarded Party badges to 25 people, and issued and changed Party cards to 461/496 Party members.

In Viet Lam commune, this winter is bustling with the green color of Korean ginseng beds in Chang village. The first 200 ginseng plants not only have economic significance but also arouse the spirit of daring to think and daring to do of the local government. Chairman of the Fatherland Front Committee of the commune, Luu Van Da, said that the winter crop planting program helps people make use of land, increase income, and test medicinal plants suitable for the mountainous climate. When officials go to the fields to guide techniques and encourage households to participate, people trust and enthusiastically follow. That trust becomes the bond between the government and the people.

Spreading "soft power"

The spirit of “serving the people” is spreading in Thuan Hoa commune. The commune police force organized the “Zero-dong stall” model, giving clothes and necessities to poor households; propagating the law, instructing on how to install VNeID; mobilizing people to hand over weapons and explosives. Last year, people voluntarily handed over 5 homemade flintlock guns, a small number but with great significance in terms of awareness and trust. Lieutenant Colonel Trieu Van Chung, Head of the commune police, shared: “The model has strengthened the relationship between the police force and the people, fostered community cohesion, and kept the village peaceful”.

The spirit of being close to the people is also clearly demonstrated in Thai Binh commune, where the Chairman of the Farmers' Association, Nguyen Manh Dung, chose the method of "thinking with the people, doing with the people". The Association opened 3 training classes on livestock farming techniques and the use of organic fertilizers for 150 members; organized for farmers to visit high-tech models in Tan Thanh and VinEco Tam Dao. These specific and practical actions add motivation to the movement "Farmers compete in production and good business".

From the ginseng beds in Viet Lam, the party cell meeting in Tri Phu, the "Zero-dong stall" in Thuan Hoa, the training class to improve knowledge and aim for sustainable development in Thai Binh... all have the same fulcrum: taking people as the root, building trust through action.

Trust does not come from slogans but from concrete actions, from the sense of responsibility and dedication of cadres and party members at the grassroots level. When the Party is close to the people and the people trust the Party, that is the soft power of the political system, the power that helps the Party stand firm in the face of challenges, spreading the values of integrity, dedication and the spirit of serving the people.
