Forklift runs over and kills person in Thu Duc City.

(NLĐO) - A forklift transporting a container was reversing when it ran over and killed the driver of a tractor-trailer who was standing inspecting his vehicle.

On December 17th, the Thu Duc City Police (Ho Chi Minh City) are investigating the death of a man at Phuoc Long ICD port, Truong Tho ward.

Scene of the incident

At approximately 5:30 PM, Mr. T. (29 years old, from Long An province) was driving a forklift, transporting a container at Phuoc Long ICD port. While reversing, the forklift ran over Mr. N. (39 years old, from Dong Thap province) – the driver of a tractor-trailer who was standing inspecting his vehicle.

As a result, Mr. N. fell and died on the spot. The scene indicates that it was a narrow corner.

Authorities in Thu Duc City subsequently arrived at the scene to investigate the cause.
