This collaboration comes as traditional financial institutions are projected to see profits decline by 20 to 60 percent by 2025 if they fail to grow digitally, according to research by consulting firm McKinsey. Many financial institutions are now reviewing their entire banking technology platforms, with many already shifting to cloud technology.

According to a Google Cloud study, 88% agree that adopting cloud technology can help adapt to ever-changing customer behavior and expectations, improve operational adaptability, and support the creation of new products and services.
