No longer prioritizing crowded and bustling trips, many young people are choosing quiet locations close to nature, such as mountainous regions, pristine beaches, or tranquil villages, temples, and pagodas. There, they seek relaxation and a break from the hustle and bustle and pressures of daily life. Waking up in the fresh air, listening to birdsong, breathing in the cool air, or simply sitting and reading a book or drinking coffee amidst nature has become a precious "spiritual remedy" for young people.

With the diverse travel trends today, many young people are making choices that reflect their personal style, aiming for emotional balance and authentic experiences. Ms. Phan Thi Nhu Y, residing in Thoi Son ward, said that she doesn't pay too much attention to crowded "trendy" destinations but prioritizes places close to nature such as mountains, forests, or peaceful rice fields. Such trips help her "temporarily shut down" her hectic life, giving her time to listen to herself and regenerate positive energy. Ms. Y shared: "I like the feeling of waking up in the morning amidst fresh air, free from the noise of cars, with only wind and trees. At times like that, I feel much lighter. Traveling isn't about chasing after others, but about truly resting. Therefore, instead of a packed itinerary, I often choose to travel slowly, staying longer in one place to fully appreciate the scenery and local life."

Ms. Ý believes that the trend of traveling back to nature is not just a fleeting fad but also reflects a very real need of young people in modern society. As pressure increases, people are increasingly inclined to seek out original values, places where their spirits can rest and find balance. However, she also emphasized that everyone needs to be conscious of protecting the environment and preserving the landscape so that these destinations can retain their original beauty.

Besides the trend of seeking tranquility, a segment of young people are quick to embrace the trend of "hot" destinations on social media. A prime example is Hoa Chanh kite village in Vinh Hoa commune, a place attracting many young people to visit, experience, and check in. In a short time, the colorful kites filling the sky, combined with the spacious countryside scenery, have quickly become a sensation on social media. The rustic and intimate beauty of the kite village has become a unique highlight. On windy afternoons, hundreds of kites soaring create a scene that is both peaceful and vibrant, becoming an ideal backdrop for photos and short videos . Many young people share that they come here not only to take pictures but also to experience the feeling of childhood – flying kites themselves, running in the fields, and immersing themselves in the open space.

Every year in March, when the weather is favorable with strong and stable winds, the kite-flying season comes to a head. Notably, the spread of social media has helped transform Hoa Chanh kite village from a familiar spot for locals into a destination for many people from afar. Just a few clips garnering tens of thousands of views quickly attract many young people to experience it.

Mr. Lam Khanh Lam, a resident of Vinh Thuan commune, said that in recent years, whenever he visits the kite village, he notices a significant increase in the number of people, especially young people. "Hoa Chanh kite village is now famous on social media, and many young people come here to take photos and videos in the afternoons," Mr. Lam said.

From peaceful, nature-friendly spaces to trendy destinations that attract attention on social media, young people's travel trends are not just about the trip itself, but also about finding emotional balance and connecting with the community.
