During the Vietnamese national team's training session on the morning of March 27th, Xuan Manh and the group of players who started in the match against Bangladesh were assigned to train separately by coach Kim Sang-sik. This group only performed light exercises such as walking and stretching to recover their physical condition after the match.

However, according to Tri Thuc – Znews , Xuan Manh suffered a torn toenail on his left big toe. This injury likely occurred during the match against Bangladesh on March 26th. While moving around, the Hanoi FC player unexpectedly ran to the sideline to take off his shoe and check his injured toe. However, he quickly returned and continued training with his teammates.

Earlier, Xuan Manh was one of the highlights in the friendly match against Bangladesh. He scored the second goal for the Vietnamese national team. Xuan Manh's goal came from a header, contributing to his team's 3-0 victory over Bangladesh.

Despite showing signs of discomfort in his leg, Xuan Manh's condition is not considered too serious. However, the coaching staff still requested close monitoring to avoid any risks before the important match. According to the schedule, the Vietnamese national team will face Malaysia at Thien Truong Stadium on the evening of March 31st in the 2027 Asian Cup qualifiers. This is a crucial match, so the physical condition of key players like Xuan Manh is of particular concern.
