"The 'Scholarship Home' program is a meaningful initiative implemented by the Provincial Association for the Promotion of Learning for many years. It serves as a bridge connecting benefactors to support the construction of decent homes, providing motivation and encouragement for underprivileged but studious students to overcome difficulties and strive for success. This spring, many students in the province celebrated Tet (Lunar New Year) in their new, spacious homes, filled with warmth and kindness."
Leaders of the Provincial Association for the Promotion of Learning, representatives of JNTC VINA Co., Ltd., and delegates visited the study corner at the handover ceremony of the "Home for the Promotion of Learning" to the family of Nguyen Kim Thanh in Group 2B, Phong Chau Street, Bach Hac Ward, Viet Tri City.
This Tet holiday, the joy of Nguyen Kim Thanh (a 7th grade student at Bach Hac Secondary School) is multiplied as his family celebrates Tet in their new home. Although from a poor family in Group 2B, Phong Chau Street, Bach Hac Ward, Viet Tri City, he has always strived to overcome difficulties and excel in his studies. The "Scholarship Home" is a great reward for his continuous efforts and dedication to learning.
Born into a family facing extreme hardship, Thanh's father, Nguyen Kim Tuan, has suffered from mental illness for many years. Since his father's illness, his mother's health has deteriorated, yet she remains the primary breadwinner. Sympathizing with Thanh's family's plight, the Provincial and City Education Promotion Associations mobilized benefactors and sponsors to support the construction of a "Scholarship Shelter" for the family.
Construction of the house began in October 2024. After just over two months of construction, the "Scholarship Home" was completed, boasting a spacious 70m2 area and a total construction cost of 272 million VND. It is known that the new house was built with the support of many charitable organizations, including the Provincial and Viet Tri City Associations for the Promotion of Learning and JNTC ViNa Co., Ltd., which contributed 150 million VND, and the City Fatherland Front Committee, which contributed 40 million VND. These are incredibly precious gifts, and they motivate me to continue studying to achieve even higher academic results."

His father left when Hung and his siblings were young, and his mother single-handedly worked tirelessly to raise and educate them. And that wish came true when construction began in September 2024.
