Nguyen Hue Walking Street
Address: District 1
Nguyen Hue pedestrian street is over 670 meters long, starting from the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee headquarters to Bach Dang Park and crossing several streets such as Le Loi, Ton That Dam, Ngo Duc Ke, and Hai Trieu. The street is often the venue for major cultural and artistic events of the city.
Nguyen Hue Walking Street is open all day. From Monday to Friday, vehicles are allowed to pass through the area. On Saturday and Sunday evenings, Nguyen Hue Walking Street is closed to vehicles from 6 PM to 10 PM to reserve space for pedestrians.
Walking along this street, visitors can easily find beautiful photo spots such as in front of the City People's Committee headquarters, the statue of President Ho Chi Minh, the apartment building at 42 Nguyen Hue, and the facade of Ciao Cafe. These are characteristic destinations of the pedestrian street that cannot be missed, especially for first-time visitors. The pedestrian street does not have many shelters or shade, so visitors should bring a hat or umbrella if visiting in the morning. Photo: Quynh Tran
