In particular, Ho Chi Minh City will actively balance and arrange the budget (total estimated investment of about 2.000 billion VND) to organize the implementation and promote the investment efficiency of this project and the Ring Road 3 project. HCMC.
According to the decision, the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City supports the method of implementing the project according to the proposal of the People's Committee of Binh Duong province with the starting point of the Ho Chi Minh City-Thu Dau Mot-Chon Thanh highway connecting to the Ring Road 3 of Ho Chi Minh City. This is consistent with the Road Network Plan for the 2021-2030 period, with a vision to 2050, approved by the Prime Minister in Decision No. 1454/QD-TTg dated September 1, 9.
With the connecting route from Ring Road 2 (Go Dua intersection) to Ring Road 3 which is not part of the HCMC-Thu Dau Mot-Chon Thanh expressway plan, the section connecting the expressway will be divided. into two paragraphs.
In Binh Duong province (from Ring 3 to Ho Chi Minh City boundary) is the existing DT.743 road that has been invested with a length of about 7,15km.
For the section in Ho Chi Minh City with a length of about 1,65km, the City People's Committee. agreed with the Ministry of Transport to proceed from Go Dua intersection along Provincial Road 43 (Thu Duc city) about 800m, then turn right along DT.743.
Ho Chi Minh City will study design standards, operating conditions, review traffic forecast data, transport demand, and relevant approved plans to develop and deploy solutions for the contract. physical.
At the same time, it is proposed to study the appropriate plan for the intersection between Ring Road 3 and the HCMC-Thu Dau Mot-Chon Thanh Expressway in the phase of the highway's divergence in order to organize safe and efficient traffic. facilitate communication, promote the efficiency of project investment.
According to the planning of the expressway network of Vietnam to 2020, with a vision to 2030, the Ho Chi Minh City - Thu Dau Mot - Chon Thanh expressway has a total length of about 69km; It is expected to invest in new projects with a scale of 6-8 express lanes, implemented in the period before 2030./.
