Two hotels with 'million-dollar views' launch in Phu Quoc.

Many tourists affectionately call these hotels "million-dollar views" as they can gaze out over the picturesque Long Beach.

Specifically, Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, the world's leading hotel franchise and operator with approximately 9,100 hotels in over 95 countries, has just opened two new projects in Phu Quoc City (Kien Giang province): Wyndham Grand Phu Quoc (1,399 rooms) and Wyndham Garden Phu Quoc (921 rooms).

Wyndham Grand Phu Quoc is the largest hotel in the Wyndham system worldwide.

Representatives from Wyndham Hotels & Resorts stated that Vietnam is currently one of the key markets that Wyndham Group is focusing on developing to capitalize on the strong recovery of the domestic tourism industry.

Reportedly, these two new projects are operated under separate cooperation agreements with Phu Quoc Tourism Investment and Development Joint Stock Company for Wyndham Grand Phu Quoc and Newvision Land Co., Ltd. for Wyndham Garden Phu Quoc.

Mr. Joon Aun Ooi, Chairman of Wyndham Hotels & Resorts Asia Pacific, stated that Phu Quoc Island is an incredibly beautiful island and Wyndham Grand Phu Quoc is the largest hotel in the Wyndham system worldwide.

“Vietnam plays an extremely important role at the heart of the group and is crucial to our business development strategy not only in the region but also globally. We see many opportunities for the future development of the group as well as Phu Quoc tourism,” Mr. Joon Aun Ooi expressed.

Mr. Huynh Quang Hung, Chairman of the People's Committee of Phu Quoc City (Kien Giang province), said that currently, there are 321 investors in Phu Quoc City, mainly focusing on tourism, services, and entertainment, including high-end entertainment, with a total registered investment capital of up to 18 billion USD. Mr. Hung hopes that Phu Quoc will become a regional and international-level tourism center in the future.
