250 people received free medical check-ups and medication.

(Dong Nai) - On the morning of July 12th, the Southern Representative Board of the Ho Chi Minh City Traditional Medicine Association (a member of the Vietnam Traditional Medicine Association), in coordination with the Traditional Medicine Associations of provinces in the Southern region, organized a program of medical examinations, treatment, health care guidance, and gift giving at Duc Bon A Lan Nha Pagoda, Nghia Trung commune, Dong Nai province.

People participating in the program receive free medical check-ups and medication.

During the program, the medical professionals in the delegation provided examinations, advice on self-care, support in treating musculoskeletal diseases, distributed free medicine to 250 people, and donated 125 gifts to poor households in the locality.

The program of free medical examinations, distribution of medicine, and gift-giving to the poor is a regular activity organized by Venerable Thich Dong Tan, abbot of Duc Bon A Lan Nha Pagoda, in coordination with relevant units, to support people in difficult circumstances and spread the spirit of volunteerism and the Buddhist philosophy of "living a good life and upholding virtuous conduct."
