Dong Nai has become an attractive destination for global technology giants seeking to establish their presence, thanks to its distinct competitive advantages in infrastructure and investment attraction policies. Businesses with high technological content, low labor intensity, and high added value are increasingly emerging, particularly in the fields of electronics, automation, semiconductors, and chip manufacturing.

The trend of advanced technology businesses "flooding" Dong Nai in the coming time is predicted to continue to increase strongly when Long Thanh International Airport becomes operational. Therefore, the province is aggressively developing two new-generation industrial parks specifically for high-tech businesses located right next to the airport; at the same time, it is mobilizing universities to participate in the training of high-quality human resources to serve the needs of these industrial parks.

According to the Action Program of the Provincial Party Committee, in the period 2025-2030, Dong Nai will promote industrial development towards high technology and environmental friendliness.
