Since November, archaeologists have been excavating the above locations. The results of the excavation of the Noi Trong field area have found many architectural vestiges of the Dinh Dynasty palace and cultural traces of the Tien Le Dynasty, proving that the Dinh Dynasty built the capital in this area.
Excavation of the Hang Trau field has identified this place as a transitional space between the two architectural spaces of the Main Palace and the Back Palace of the Hoa Lu capital. During the Dinh Dynasty, this area was a garden with many ancient trees.
Archaeologists recommend that Ninh Binh province should continue to strengthen the protection and preservation of relics. |

Excavation of the Nhat Tru Pagoda area revealed two architectural structures located in the northeast of the pagoda. At the same time, it was determined that the Nhat Tru Pagoda area had many different architectural units.
The above archaeological results have determined in more detail the spatial distribution of architectural works in the Forbidden City and the Hoa Lu Imperial Citadel. The archaeologists have recommended that the authorities of Ninh Binh province continue to protect the current status of the relic; maintain the current status of the area, stop all activities of burying graves, constructing works, and illegally digging ponds and lakes in this area. At the same time, continue to expand the research on the spatial distribution area around Nhat Tru Pagoda.
