On June 18, the source of VietNamNet said that regarding the case of 3 divers missing after a loud explosion occurred in Ca Mau province, one of the victims had found a bomb.
The source added that previously, Mr. N.N.T. (42 years old, living in Nam Can district) found the bomb so he brought it near his home. This man planned to saw the bomb but was stopped by his family.
“Mr. T. and two other people, T.V.N. (2 years old) and N.C.H. (33 years old, living in the same locality) moved the shell bomb to the other side of the Cua Lon River in Tan An Tay commune, Ngoc Hien district, then an unfortunate incident happened," the source said.
As reported, on the morning of January 17, people saw the above 1 victims driving the boat to the Cua Lon River area.
At about 9:30 a.m., there was a loud explosion, causing all three people to go missing. Many witnesses said that on tree branches around the scene, a body part was discovered, suspected to be that of one of the victims.
That afternoon, the authorities found the shells of the three victims. However, the boat's tail had sunk, and there was no one on the boat.
