Heavy rain upstream caused the water level to rise, further exacerbating the critical situation of the four children in the middle of the stream.
A child slipped and was swept away by the current, but fortunately, people nearby spotted and rescued him in time.
The remaining three children had to climb onto a rocky outcrop in the middle of the stream to take refuge, surrounded by the rapidly rising floodwaters.
Upon receiving the information, the leaders of the District People's Committee, the functional forces of Chư Pưh district, and the Ia Blứ commune government quickly arrived at the scene to organize rescue efforts. At the same time, the district also notified the provincial rescue team to coordinate in rescuing the children.
