On January 3rd, the People's Committee of Ia Krai commune, Ia Grai district, Gia Lai province, reported a serious homemade firework explosion in the area, injuring four students.

Earlier, at 5:38 PM on January 1st, the Ia Krái Commune Police received information about a firework explosion accident at the house of Mr. VVT (born in 1978, Doch Ia Krot village, Ia Krái commune).

Recently, many students in Gia Lai province have been buying materials on social media to make firecrackers (Photo: Chi Anh).

According to the initial investigation, Mr. T.'s son, V.D.P. (born in 2010), ordered materials online to make firecrackers at home.

Later, P. invited three friends, NTD (born in 2013), TQT (born in 2013), and NMT (born in 2013), all residing in Doch Ia Krot village, Ia Krai commune, to his house to make firecrackers together. During the process, the homemade firecrackers exploded.

Hearing a loud explosion, local residents quickly rushed to the scene and discovered four students injured, then took them to the hospital for emergency treatment.

At the scene, authorities discovered numerous bloodstains and tools used to manufacture firecrackers.
