4 students hospitalized after loud explosion

(Dan Tri) - A student bought materials online and invited a group of friends to his house to make fireworks. During the process, the fireworks exploded, injuring four students.

On January 3, the People's Committee of Ia Krai commune, Ia Grai district, Gia Lai province said a serious homemade firecracker explosion occurred in the area, injuring four students.

Previously, at 5:38 p.m. on January 1, Ia Krai Commune Police received information about a firecracker accident that occurred at the house of Mr. VVT (born in 1978, Doch Ia Krot village, Ia Krai commune).

Recently, many students in Gia Lai province have searched for materials on social networks to make firecrackers (Photo: Chi Anh).

According to initial investigation, Mr. T.'s son, V.D.P. (born 2010), ordered materials online to make fireworks at home.

After that, P. invited 3 more friends, NTD (born 2013), TQT (born 2013) and NMT (born 2013), all residing in Doch Ia Krot village, Ia Krai commune, to his house to make firecrackers together. During the process, the homemade firecrackers exploded.

Hearing a loud explosion, people nearby quickly ran to the scene and discovered 4 injured students, then took them to the emergency room.

At the scene, authorities discovered many blood stains and tools used to make fireworks.
