AFC names Khuất Văn Khang

Khuat Van Khang has a lot of competition experience.

In just two days, the AFC U23 Asian Cup Saudi Arabia 2025 will officially kick off. 16 teams have finalized their registration lists, bringing with them the most talented young players with the ambition of conquering the continental championship.

Among them, the Vietnam U23 team received special attention for possessing a player who has transcended the boundaries of a youth tournament: Khuất Văn Khang.

The AFC homepage, in its summary of noteworthy players in each team, selected Khuất Văn Khang as Vietnam's representative in Group A. This wasn't a biased choice, but accurately reflected the 2004-born midfielder's position within the current team structure.

Jordan also brings a fast-paced attack, while Kyrgyz Republic is an unknown quantity in its first appearance at the finals.
