Airwallex Hits $1 Billion in Annual Revenue

DNVN - Airwallex has just announced that it has surpassed the $1 billion annual revenue (ARR) milestone. With a growth rate of nearly 90% compared to the same period last year, Airwallex aims to double its revenue to $2 billion within the next 12 months.

Revenue from the Southeast Asia region, including Vietnam, doubled (equivalent to 108%) in the third quarter of fiscal 2025, while transaction volume increased 94% year-on-year.

Reaching the $1 billion ARR milestone marks a significant growth spurt for Airwallex. It took the company nine years to reach its first $500 million ARR, but just over a year to double it. The breakthrough reflects high levels of customer loyalty and the impressive rise of a new generation of businesses that are “global in their DNA.”

Airwallex’s multi-product customer base has doubled in the past year, demonstrating the company’s product fit and market need. Many businesses initially partnered with Airwallex to address a specific need, but as their businesses grew, they expanded to multiple products and markets. This organic growth reflects the high level of trust and value of a unified platform that can grow with their business at every stage.

In particular, the emergence of a new generation of “global from the start” businesses is driving economic interconnectedness around the world.
