ANTD.VN - The leadership of the American Chamber of Commerce (AmCham Hanoi ) has elected Joseph Uddo as its new President for 2024, replacing John Rockhold, who held the position in 2022 and 2023.

AmCham Hanoi announced that Joseph Uddo will also assume the role of President of the American Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam this year.
Mr. Uddo stated that he hopes to collaborate with AmCham members to further promote and strengthen economic , social, and business relations between Vietnam and the United States.
Mr. Uddo has lived and worked in Vietnam since 2022 and is the General Director of AES Vietnam, a US-invested foreign direct investment company in Vietnam. This is a next-generation energy company with over four decades of experience supporting the global transition to clean and renewable energy. AES currently has offices in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City , Binh Thuan, and Quang Ninh.
Established in 1994, AmCham Hanoi is a non-profit organization whose primary mission is to enhance trade and investment between the United States and Vietnam. AmCham members hold billions of dollars in foreign investment, employ tens of thousands of direct employees, hundreds of thousands of indirect employees, and contribute a significant portion of Vietnam's exports and taxes.
The US is currently one of Vietnam's leading foreign investors and its largest export market.
