SaPo Production and Trading Co., Ltd. in Khanh Hong commune (Yen Khanh district) brought a 4-star OCOP product to the exhibition - Hong Hac incense.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoai, the company's business manager, said: "Hong Hac incense has been produced since 2017 using Vetiver grass. With its unique materials, scent, and safety and eco-friendliness, Hong Hac incense has continuously expanded its market."

Each year, the company brings over 15,000 boxes of products to the market. Notably, the company recently launched a new type of incense made from the *Bai* plant. This new incense has initially established a reputation in the market. The company sells 600-700 boxes of incense per month.

"To sell our products, we have distributors in many places. This is the second time we've participated in a fair and exhibition to showcase and introduce our products in our hometown. Many customers came to visit, learn about, and buy our new incense to try. They were very interested to hear the fascinating stories about the journey of transforming grass roots into fragrant, safe incense sticks. This is truly a great opportunity for us to promote our products," said Ms. Hoai.

Coming from the distant province of Cao Bang , Ms. Dinh Thi Kim Tuyen's stall attracted visitors with its rustic, unique, and distinctive products. Ms. Tuyen is the owner of the famous Dinh Tuyen black jelly production facility in Thach An, Cao Bang province.

Her establishment was recognized as a 3-star OCOP product at the provincial level in 2022. With the desire to develop her hometown's products, making them a unique culinary feature with a strong market position, the establishment constantly strives to improve production methods, enhance product quality, and build the Dinh Tuyen black jelly brand to reach further.

In particular, to allow more people and places to enjoy this traditional dish, the establishment has utilized various channels to introduce its products. Participating in fairs and exhibitions is also one of the methods the establishment is very interested in.

"This is the first time I've personally brought products to Ninh Binh . I'm very happy to see the interest and enthusiasm of the local customers. Developing the market, selling the products, and most importantly, having products from the distant land of Cao Bang find a place in the hearts of customers far away is truly meaningful."

The OCOP product promotion and networking space is an activity within the "Cultural Heritage and Traditional Handicraft Products" Exhibition in Ninh Binh - an event in the series of events celebrating the 2nd Ninh Binh Festival in 2023. The exhibition is organized by the Agricultural Trade Promotion Center in coordination with the Central Office for New Rural Development Coordination and the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Ninh Binh province.

With over 400 square meters of exhibition space, the promotional and networking area for OCOP products in our province attracted participation from nearly 20 provinces and cities, as well as dozens of units, businesses, and cooperatives from provinces and cities such as Hanoi, Ha Giang, Nam Dinh, Ninh Binh, Thai Nguyen, Cao Bang, Bac Ninh, Hai Duong, Nghe An, Quang Ninh, Lai Chau, Thanh Hoa, Long An, etc.

An important part of the OCOP product promotion and networking space in our province is the display, promotion, and networking of typical OCOP products of the province.

Participating in this event, the Ninh Binh Department of Agriculture and Rural Development selected and displayed dozens of typical OCOP products with development potential from businesses in districts and cities throughout the province, such as Bo Bat pottery, golden flower tea, Centella Asiatica extract, An Thai tea, sprouted tea, nutritional cereal powder, fish floss, Bodhi leaf paintings, turmeric starch tablets, various alcoholic beverages, meat stewed with shrimp paste, royal crispy rice, cordyceps mushrooms, Phu Long custard apples, etc.

Ninh Binh's OCOP products are beautifully displayed, attracting visitors and shoppers, leaving a great impression on domestic and international tourists who come to explore and experience the space.

Ms. Nguyen Hong Hanh from Ninh Khanh ward (Ninh Binh city) said: "The 'Cultural Heritage Space and Traditional Handicraft Products' exhibition offered many attractive activities. Not only did I get to see artistic performances by ethnic groups from across the country, but I was also fascinated by the many booths displaying OCOP products from different regions. It's rare to have the opportunity to experience these products without an exhibition and presentation in my hometown."

Interestingly, by meeting the producers of these products in person, we also got to hear the stories behind each product, which helped us appreciate the love and hard work of the people and gain a better understanding of the culture in each region.

Mr. Hoang Van Du, Deputy Director of the Agricultural Trade Promotion Center, said: "The products produced by local production facilities are not numerous enough to be distributed through large channels, so we have to exploit and approach the market in a different way, based on the unique local characteristics of the products. They are not just ordinary products; they are ambassadors conveying the humanistic stories of the region, contributing to promoting economic development in many localities."

Exhibitions and displays like these are very practical activities aimed at introducing, promoting, and connecting OCOP products; enhancing the image of the Vietnamese OCOP brand among domestic and international tourists. This contributes to unlocking the potential, local products, and cultural and culinary values of regions, expanding markets, and facilitating trade for local OCOP products. Simultaneously, it promotes the dissemination of knowledge and unique local culture to tourists regarding OCOP products and enhances the tourism image of these localities.
