Food stalls offering dishes like "men men" (made from corn kernels) and many other local specialties also attracted many visitors. Many tourists were captivated and spent time taking photos beside the pear and "mac cot" trees (also known as "mac cop" trees, a type of fruit related to pears but smaller), which were blooming with pristine white flowers.
